Terms of service

These terms apply when you use soroco.coffee, order.soroco.coffee or our WhatsApp ordering service (together, the "Service"), operated by Majo Foods LLP ("Soroco House", "we", "us"), Chennai, India. By placing an order you agree to them.

1. Orders

  • You choose the outlet (Anna Nagar, OMR or Nungambakkam), your items and how you'll receive them: pickup at a named point at the outlet, or service to your table.
  • An order is placed only when payment is confirmed. The outlet then accepts and prepares it; you'll see its status on your order page (and on WhatsApp, if you ordered there).
  • Menu items, availability and preparation times can change. If an item becomes unavailable after you pay, we'll contact you to offer a replacement or a refund for that item.
  • Home delivery is not offered yet.

2. Prices and payment

  • Prices are in Indian Rupees and exclude GST, which is added at checkout (currently 5%). The total you pay is shown before payment.
  • Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
  • No service charge is added to online orders.

3. Collecting your order

  • Please collect pickup orders from the point you chose once your order is ready. Table orders are brought to the table number you entered; please make sure it is correct.
  • Uncollected orders are held for 60 minutes after they are ready, after which we can't guarantee their quality or availability, and they are not refundable.

4. Allergies and dietary information

Veg, non-veg and egg marks are shown on the menu. Our kitchens handle milk, nuts, gluten, eggs, soy and other allergens, so we can't guarantee any item is free from them. If you have an allergy, please speak to the team at the outlet before ordering.

6. Using the Service

Please don't misuse the Service, place fraudulent orders or interfere with its operation. Our WhatsApp assistant is automated; it can make mistakes, so please check your order summary and total before you pay.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction.
